5 Friday Favorites | 13

It’s Friday! Usually I’m all blah about Fridays, but this weekend Caleb took some time off and we have lots of fun plans so I’m pretty pumped! My work schedule has also settled so Fridays are pretty quiet and easy going. Win win!

one// Dinner picnics. Last Friday night was so beautiful around MN. The weather was 75 and sunny, so I decided to pack a picnic dinner for Jack, Harvey, and me and head to the park. My sister and her girls decided to join us and it was heavenly. It was so nice to get out of routine and the boys played hard all evening so they both crashed out fast and long!

This definitely does not look sunny and 75, it turned fall real fast as the sun went down.

two// Jack started this Minecraft coding camp last week. Ok, I’ll be super honest, I signed him up full well knowing what it would be like and he was clueless. But I did it anyway. He thought they would just play all morning. So, I was a little apprehensive about how he’d take it when it was more of a learning than a playing thing. All worries aside, he loved it and he goes back this weekend too! It was a nice 3 hour break for mom too 😉

three// Apple nachos. Ok blogging and mama world, are you ready for this? I don’t like pumpkin spice, I don’t even really like pumpkin. Yep. I said. There. Ok now we can move on. Fall for me, means all things apples! I gave the family the easiest (I repeat, the easiest!) apple treat ever. Apple Nachos. I sliced up some apples we had on hand, melted some caramel dip, and tossed on some mini chocolate chips. Bam. Done! I intended to add some walnuts, but I got “the look” from the kids and they never got purchased at the grocery store anyway… maybe next time.

Yum! In under 5 minutes.

four// This sweatshirt. I’m totally in love with the off the shoulder factor and thing it would be perfect with some leggings and boots – you know fall style. I’m just unsure about buying clothes on amazing. Anyone done it? Let me know, serious! It’s only $19.99 so I’m thinking it’s worth the test.

five// I’ve been getting ready to decorate for fall, yep a little behind, and decided I needed a new project to add in. I hoarded collected some burlap from a friend’s wedding last summer and have been waiting for the perfect project ever since. I saw this banner on etsy and totally fell in love, so I’ll be working on something like this!

What about you? What were your favorites this week or do you have big weekend plans! Love to hear! Also, serious. Let me know about amazon clothes.
